Karryn was born in Australia and raised in Burnaby. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. She joined Lohn Caulder as an articling student in 2014 and became designated in 2017 as a Chartered Professional Accountant. Always up for new challenges and learning opportunities she is currently enrolled in the CPA Canada in-depth tax program.
At work Karryn primarily focuses on providing clients with accounting, assurance and taxation services for private companies in various industries. She is also involved with assisting clients on non-residency tax. Karryn is active in student mentorship and development and providing in-house training courses for the Firm’s staff as well as improving the Firm’s standards and processes. She is also a coordinator for the Firm’s CPA Professional Education Program.
Outside of work, Karryn enjoys the outdoors with her family and hosting dinners parties with her friends.
